concentration of BOD5 in
the effluent is less than 10 mg/l and the effluent can
be reused in many cases. In our suggested method of
wastewater treatment, tiny bubbles of air pass through
the media in an upward direction and its engineering
design provides the possibility of having the maximum
contact time with oxygen for obtaining a maximum oxygen
transfer efficiency. In this method, flow canalization
or clogging of media openings is not occurred.
